With invaluable experience and a unique perspective gained from Mr. Daniels' tenure on the Executive Committee with Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), we offer highly creative and practical solutions to the financial services industry and large corporations worldwide. Honed from ten years in PIMCO's rigorous environment, and lead roles in a number of investment banking projects, Mr. Daniels has a depth of expertise in a number of areas, including:

With C-Level experience within both publicly traded and privately held firms, we have expertise from a number of mergers, acquisitions, and start-ups. Our clients number among the largest and most successful firms in the world.

 

  • Product/Market Development

    In leading PIMCO’s effort into the defined contribution market, Mr. Daniels developed structured products with typical deal sizes of a $100 MM to $600 MM, and created a $20-plus billion, semi-autonomous business unit within PIMCO. Directly marketing innovative derivative products to large institutional clients, he brought in a full third of PIMCO's total new assets over a five-year period. Most of this AUM was from new clients that Mr. Daniels brought to PIMCO, including Westinghouse, IBM, DuPont, McGraw-Hill, BP America.

  • Working with Pacific Life, Mr. Daniels help design and market billions of dollars of actively managed insurance products, as well as guaranteed index products.

  • While with Quotron Systems, Mr. Daniels collaborated in the design and pricing of an array of financial information and networking products/services.

  • Strategic Planning

    While focused on the investment management industry, we have also lead strategic planning efforts in a range of industries including technology, financial information, transportation, and healthcare.

  • Business Management & Infrastructure Design

    Mr. Daniels offers a practical, hard-nosed perspective to infrastructure design and day-to-day business management, via experience in a COO-type role with PIMCO, as Treasurer with financial data and networking company Quotron Systems, and in senior level management roles in the transportation and healthcare industries. 

  • Investment Banking

    With recent involvement in a number of investment banking projects and entrepreneurial start-ups, Mr. Daniels has developed an increasing breadth of skills. These projects have included the start-up of a hedge fund, the creation of a multi-billion dollar structured investment vehicle for a Japanese client, and an internet-based, import-export business group.
